Tom Walker reveals the unusual cold remedy to keep him well in autumn

'Holy Ghost' singer Tom Walker has now been announced for Hits Radio Live Birmingham, which takes places on 22nd November at bp pulse LIVE arena, along with the line-up of Olly Alexander, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Sigala, Joel Corry, Ella Henderson, and Sugababes.

With Tom's voice being his livelihood, as autumn is setting in, Hits Radio's Hattie Pearson wanted to know how the singer makes sure he doesn't get ill, and she wasn't expecting the answer he gave.
"Garlic and honey," Tom explained. "It's not the nicest... garlic and honey... raw."
When Hattie heard this she couldn't believe it and asked him to repeat when he explained you put honey on raw garlic and eat it! "If I think I'm coming down with something, and sometimes that saves it," he revealed. "It's alright, the honey makes it more bearable, but it's still a bit intense if I'm honest!"
He went on to admit: "There's got to be a lot of teeth-brushing after that, yes, several mouthwashes going after the raw cloves of garlic and honey, but yeah, that does seem to actually help sometimes, I will say that."
Tom went on to reveal what creature comfort he likes when he on the road, but it isn't what you might expect... it's a Sainsbury's Basic pillow! The singer explained: "(I miss) my own bed and my own pillow, I try to remember it (on tour). I've forgotten it a few times, but know which pillow is mine now, and I'm very basic.
"The Sainsbury's Basic pillow is the only pillow I need in my life, shout out to Sainsbury's! I will say... Premier Inn, best bed out of any hotel, in my opinion that bed and that pillow combination feels like home to me."
