Tom Grennan reveals his mission at Hits Radio Live

Hits Radio Live Manchester takes place on Saturday 23rd November at Co-op Live, and promises to be fantastic night of music, with Rita Ora teasing an amazing set list with her biggest hits, and now Tom Grennan has revealed that he has a mission ahead of his performance.
Speaking to Fleur East, Tom revealed he wants to see people having fun. He said: "I just like to see people dancing. If I don't, then I'll make sure that (they do). I'll go, if I can’t get them dancing, I’ll get them dancing at the end.
"It's always been (my mission) ever since I started, like, doing open mic nights and all that kind of stuff. I knew that people ain't coming here to watch me, but my mission is to get them to stop talking and swivel their chair and go, oh, who's that?"
Tom continued: "Because Hits Radio... I know you lot play me a lot and I'm very, very thankful for that, but a lot of people might not have seen me live. And a lot of people might still not know who I am, so every room's an opportunity and I would love just to create a family feeling. And whoever comes to my show is a big old family, you know, I mean, and it's just a fun time. And I love that."
Tom has just released his song 'Higher', which is more upbeat than many of his previous hits, calling it "A bit of a dancey one", and revealed what he loves about performing on stage.
"The crowd's reaction, and just seeing people have a good time, I love putting on show," Tom admitted, going on to say: "I remember going to see Robbie Williams with my mum and going, 'Oh my god what a performer, I wanna do that!'
Tom went on to reveal that he will have his full band with him at Hits Radio Live Manchester, and it's very family orientated with his band, explaining that many solo artists have session musicians: "And I don't feel like you have that unity," Tom said. "Everybody knows how everybody works."
