Singer and YouTuber Samantha Harvey joined Jordan Lee tonight (12th December) for an amazing rendition of 'Last Christmas' by 'Wham!'. Samantha chose the song at random after being given several crackers containing Christmas songs for her to sing, with the choice including, 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' by Mariah Carey, Pogues' 'Fairytale of New York', Leona Lewis' 'One Last Sleep', and Slade's, 'Merry Xmas Everybody'.

Samantha said she was really hoping she didn't pull the cracker containing Mariah Carey because she has a cold. "I'm leaving right now," she joked, "I've got a bit of a cold as well so I'm going to be AWFUL. People will be like, 'how the hell has she got a YouTube following with a cold?'."

However, with some reassurance from Jordan, Samantha chose a cracker and pulled it. With relief, it was the classic from Wham!, so Samantha, accompanied by just a guitar, gave an amazing performance of 'Last Christmas'.

Released by Wham! in 1984, 'Last Christmas' became the most-played Christmas song of the 21st century in the UK, until The Pogues overtook it in 2015. 'Last Christmas' was also prevented from being a Christmas Number 1, this time by Band Aid's, 'Do They Know It's Christmas?'.
