The amazing singer Rita Ora joined Sam Thompson on Hits Radio to talk about her current single 'Ask & You Shall Receive', which is co-written by RAYE.
Rita revealed to Sam how she ended up working with BRIT Award winner RAYE, and how she imagined she would be performing her song, as she was working on it.
Speaking about last year's album, Rita said: "My last record 'You & I' was all about I would say my love story. It's more like a therapy love thing, and so with this one I was just like, let's just do it. Like I didn't want to think too much...
"RAYE sent the record over, and I love her to bits, I knew it was going to be a banger and uplifting and it felt, so like easy to listen to, amazing to perform. Like I'm doing some summer shows, summer festivals around Europe and like I love being on stage. So I'm always thinking can this work on stage?"
Rita' also spoke to Angellica and James on Hits Radio, where she told them it was a 360 moment working with RAYE.
Rita went on to explain how the the collaboration came about, saying: "I definitely messaged and was like 'hey have you got anything going?' because you know, with writers... she also supported me on my tour in 2017, so we were always always like, got each other's back.
"Back and forth, we always see each other, we're always connected. She's my little sis, and so I'm always like 'have you got anything cooking? What's going on?' This is kind of like the vibe, then she would send something over and I would like maybe alter it to me, change a couple of lyrics, make it fit for me.
"And so that was it really, I was like I'm looking for something upbeat, summer, very easy, and then this came through!"
We love Rita's latest tune, and you can hear it on Hits Radio.
