Perrie reveals her thoughts on a solo tour ❤️
She's released her debut song called 'Forget About Us'
Perrie joined us on The Hits Radio Evening Show with Sam Thompson, and told us all about her new music, including an album, and what her son Axel thinks of it. Even better, the singer, who has just released 'Forget About Us' also revealed she'd be up for doing a solo tour.
With her debut solo song out, Sam was keen to hear if there were any tour plans in the making, and she didn't shy away from the fact that she loves to tour.
"I want to, I guess it's just seeing how the music goes and what happens with that," Perrie explained. She continued: "If people like it, then great! I can't wait for my album to come out as well... it's out this year, I can't say when, but it's definitely coming this year. The treat at the end of all of your hard work is the tour.
"I would say for every artist it's got to be the touring because you don't get a feeling like you do on stage. Like that adrenaline rush that you get, it never gets normal. Even though like back in the band, Little Mix toured for years and years and years, that's all we ever did. We toured all the time, and it still never becomes normal."
Chatting to Sam, Perrie also revealed that Axel is a big fan of her music, but he doesn't like the ballads, as she told Sam: "He absolutely loves my music, loves more so the song that he features on, that's his favourite. Gee, I wonder why!
"And then he loves like the upbeat ones, so he just loves to dance and to swing around in the studio and jump around. And then as soon as I play a ballad he's like, 'no mamma, not this, I wanna dance', and I'm like 'OK!'.
During the chat, Perrie also took part in 90's baby, where she revealed her childhood crush.
Perrie also opened up to Hits Radio taking part in My Teenage Self, where she admitted the embarrassing trend she took part in, who she looked up to as a kid and her childhood nicknames.
