One Direction stars Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson have been in the studio “creating hits” with Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger.
Daughtry drummer Robin Diaz posted a picture of the team to his personal Twitter and Instagram accounts, suggesting the group have new music in the works.
“Amazing songwriter Chad Kroeger creating hits with @Louis_Tomlinson & @Real_Liam_Payne killer singers/WOW,” Diaz wrote on Twitter.
Meanwhile, last week Liam was also pictured in the studio with rapper Juicy J on his Instagram, alongside the caption: “We working!”
Collaborations with Chad Kroeger or Juicy J potentially hints at the band taking a more experimental approach to their next project.
One Direction released their fourth album ‘Four’ in November, debuting at number one on the Vodafone Top 40 Chart.
Nickelback also released a new album in November, with the project reaching number 12 in the UK charts.
