Nadine Coyle reveals how she got on America's Next Top Model
She was a guest judge
Former Girls Aloud singer Nadine Coyle popped into The Hits for a chat with Olivia Jones to promote her brand new solo single 'Go To Work', so whilst she was here we asked her just how she landed that judging role on America's Next Top Model.
Back in 2012 Nadine appeared on the popular show as a guest judge for one episode alongside the legendary Tyra Banks, and now she's spilled to Olivia that it was actually American blogger Perez Hilton who helped her get on the show.
Speaking to Olivia, Nadine revealed Perez asked her to be his date for an evening meal with Tyra, and whilst they were there, Tyra invited the singer to appear on her show.
She said, "So Tyra asked me to be on America's Next Top Model, so that was all through Perez."

After watching her friend and former Girls Aloud band mate Sarah Harding win Celebrity Big Brother last month, Olivia asked Nadine if she would ever consider appearing on a reality TV show herself.
Although Nadine said she wouldn't like to, the singer did reveal she would maybe like to be a 'mentor' like she did on America's Next Top Model. During the episode she appeared on, Nadine mentored a group of girls as they recorded a song and shot a music video.
When Olivia asked if she'd like to do something similar again she said, "Maybe, that I really enjoyed because it was just so fun."
Maybe she can follow in Cheryl's footsteps and appear on The X Factor one day?
Meanwhile Nadine is busy promoting her brand new solo single 'Go To Work'. The single is Nadine's first since she released her debut solo album 'Insatiable' back in 2010.
The upbeat pop song arrived earlier in September with the amazing video landing a week later.

Nadine first shot to fame back in 2002 when she appeared on Popstars: The Rivals. The show brought together Nadine,** **Sarah Harding, Cheryl Tweedy, Nicola Roberts, Kimberley Walsh and created Girls Aloud.
The band went on to have 21 top 10 singles on the Official UK Singles Chart and six top 10 albums.
Much to the disappointment of fans, the band parted ways in July 2009 to pursue solo careers before coming together again in 2013 to celebrate their ten year anniversary. The end of the three-year hiatus saw the girls release their sixth album, 'Ten', full of their greatest hits and new songs 'Something New', 'On The Metro' and 'Beautiful 'Cause You Love Me'.
Their last ever performance was in Liverpool on March 20th 2013.
