Mimi Webb reveals her plans for 2022

Mimi Webb built up a name for herself during lockdown and we were thrilled to have her perform at Hits Live Liverpool on 19th November as part of our amazing artist line-up. She was joined by Ed Sheeran, Mabel, The Script, Ella Henderson, Joel Corry, Becky Hill, and Tom Grennan, and it was an unforgettable night!

Hits Live will be back next year and tickets are already on sale for our shows in Liverpool on 20th May 2022, Manchester on 11th November 2022 and Birmingham on 12th November 2022. Find out how to get tickets here.

Mimi is embarking on her first big tour across the UK and Europe in January and February next year, but that's not all the singer has planned for 2022.

We chatted to her backstage at Hits Live Liverpool where she told us: "I'm just so happy to be here and just so excited for the journey, bring on 2022 really, that’s where my head’s at.

"Next week and the week after I’m doing a writing camp for my new songs. It's going to be so good. All my friends are just going to be out in the countryside and I love the countryside, it's like where I'm from. I’m very excited to be out there, so yeah get new music out."

She shared her excitement about the writing camp, and revealed who would be joining her: "It's very exciting and I think the whole process is relaxing and you trust your instincts and just write loads of music. I’ve got TMS, Tom Mann, Lost Boy, Freedo, some really great friends. I'm really excited to be there with all the legends."

Mimi has so far released an EP called 'Seven Shades of Heartbreak' and has plans for creating a full album: "I probably want to get an album out. I think that would be something I want to do. So fingers crossed. I think next week and the week after at the writing camp will be the whole process of figuring out kind of what I want to do."

She also reflected on some big career moments she has has so far: "Being on the Ellen show and performing in incredible places like here and being able to do all those things. It's all crazy. All great. I just think every moment I just take it in and yeah just hope that I can keep going forward."
