Liam Payne 'jokes' about One Direction reunion for The X Factor: The Band
Adorable!
Ever since the One Direction boys started their hiatus in 2016, the world has been holding out for some reunion news from the likes of Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan.
And whilst many of the lads have hinted at potential reunion in the future, they all have amazing solo projects right now, so we can't really complain! Anyways, that didn't stop us getting VERY excited when Liam Payne joined Hits Radio presenter Jordan Lee backstage at Hits Live, where he joked about a 1D reunion for Simon Cowell's new show The X Factor: The Band.
When Jordan asked Liam his thoughts about the new show, the singer said, "I feel like it’s something I should actually audition for. I know a few guys, could probably get them together.
"Yeah, I mean we need a few rehearsals, we’re rough around the edges; but I think it might worth it."
COULD YOU IMAGINE!? 👀
Meanwhile, whilst there is no plans for a One Direction reunion any time soon, Liam and fellow Hits Radio Live artist Louis Tomlinson sent fans into meltdown when they supported each other at the side of the stage.
As well as thanking the amazing crowd, Liam spotted his former One Direction band mate at the side of the stage, in turn giving him a big shout out.
Check out the incredible moment below:
Liam also told Jordan that he doesn't want anything for Christmas this year, instead he just wants his son to have a smile on his face.
Liam said, "A little bit of time off actually I think more than anything. I don’t know, I don’t really need anything. I’m really good right now. I’m super happy. I just want to have a nice chill day spend a little bit of time with my son; watch him smile at presents and stuff."
Aww! ❤️
