Kygo teams up with Tina Turner for a reworking of one of her BIGGEST hits
'What's Love Got to Do with It' has been given a 2020 twist!
Norwegian DJ Kygo has teamed up with sassy soul legend Tina Turner on a rework of her iconic 1984 hit 'What's Love Got To Do With It'. The remix landed on Friday 17th July and already fans are LOVING the 2020 twist on the classic hit.

Kygo, whose previous hits include his reworking of the Whitney Houston's cover of 'Higher Love', and his Top 10 hit from 2014 'Firestone', announced the exciting news on social media, calling it a 'dream come true'.
He wrote, 'What’s Love Got To Do With It’ w/ @tinaturner out everywhere! 🎶 It really is a dream come true to work on such an iconic track 🖤 Link in bio'. (sic)

Fans have been quick to comment on the new single, one wrote, 'Yessssss!! I’ve had golden hour on repeat and now this! 💫💫'.
Another wrote, 'A blast from the past with a twist from the future 🔥🎶'. (sic)

Kygo revealed he would be working with 80-year-old Tina earlier this week, telling fans, 'Can’t believe I’m releasing a collab with @tinaturner this Friday! ‘What’s Love Got To Do With It’ is one of my all time favorite songs, and it feels surreal to get the opportunity to work with such a legendary artist! Can’t wait for you all to hear it🎶.'
'What's Love Got To Do With It' was a massive hit for Tina back in 1984, reaching Number 3 in the UK and was even inducted into the GRAMMY Hall of Fame in 2012, giving the singer her third GRAMMY Hall of Fame Award!
Kygo's new song comes just a couple of months after the tropical house DJ released 'Golden Hour', his third album, which includes a number of collaborations including, 'Higher Love' with Whitney Houston, 'Lose Somebody' with OneRepublic, and 'Like It Is' with Zara Larsson and Tyga.

Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande teamed up for the super successful 'Rain On Me' in June 2020. The song features on Lady Gaga's latest album 'Chromatica' which has become the fastest selling album of the year so far.

Calvin Harris and The Weeknd released their collab 'Over Now' on 28th August. The music video is a CGI animated video featuring a disco ball-style recreation of The Weeknd in various futuristic locations.
