A decade later!

In 2008 'I Kissed A Girl' was the amazing track which shot Katy Perry to super stardom. Now, a decade later, the singer confesses that she would rewrite the lyrics of the song if it was again written today.

The song sold over 4.7 million digital copies and spent several weeks at the top of the charts in its time. However, it has been criticised in the past by the LGBTQ community for 'trivialising bisexuality and gender stereotypes'.

In an interview, Katy said, "We've really changed, conversationally, in the past 10 years. We've come a long way. Bisexuality wasn't as talked about back then, or any type of fluidity."

She admits, "If I had to write that song again, I probably would make an edit on it. Lyrically, it has a couple of stereotypes in it. Your mind changes so much in 10 years, and you grow so much. What's true for you can evolve."
