Justin Bieber Announces He Is Retiring

Justin Bieber has said that he plans to retire after his upcoming album, 'Journals', has been released. The 19 year old canadian popstar made the announcement during an interview with a US radio station on Tuesday.

In the interview Justin said: "After the new album, I'm actually retiring man. I'm retiring." "I think I'm probably going to quit music."

Bieber went on to explain that he wanted his music to "mature".

"I want to grow as an artist and I'm taking a step out, I want my music to mature."

However, Justin's annoucement may not be as serious as it sounds: One of Bieber's official representatives soon stepped in to clarify that Justin was only joking and that his is not quitting music afterall.

Justin's new album Journals is set to be released 23 December.
