Jonas Brothers tell us about 'The Album' and what their new single is REALLY about 🙌
'Waffle House' is out now
The Jonas Brothers released their new song 'Waffle House' on 7th April, which features on their upcoming record 'The Album', and they decided to drop by Sam Thompson on Hits UK to talk about what we can expect!
Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas also opened up about their new song, revealing exactly what it's about (clue: it isn't just about eating waffles).
What is the Jonas Brothers' song 'Waffle House' about?
The band had previously revealed on social media that their new song was named after a place they used to go, explaining further on his show Hits UK: "For those who don't know what a waffle house is and are scratching their head, it's like a place where we used to go when we were growing up, when nothing was open late and we were too young to go out to have a pint with our band, and after a show.
"And, so we were just like, let's go to a 24 hour open diner, and we'd go and have great conversations, laughs, cries, fights."
"It was a safe place for us," they continued: "It's more of a representation of the idea, than the place, and I think a lot of the people who are probably listening can think of a childhood place they used to go with their family and friends and go, 'I have so many great memories of that place', that was kinda the idea."
When asked what they normally ordered when they went to the waffle house they revealed: "It was a chocolate chip waffle, scrambled eggs, fried bacon and a black coffee!" 😋
What can fans expect from 'The Album'?
Going on to explain that this album is probably their most personal, the brothers revealed that the album "covers a lot of things," adding: "From brotherhood, fatherhood, to just being married and everything that goes into that part of our lives. It's very cool to put that into music form."
Will the Jonas Brothers do a collab with Lewis Capaldi?
The boys also joined us for Answers The Internet, and when asked if they'd do a collab with Lewis Capaldi they didn't write off the idea, after they joined him on stage in New York earlier this year.
