Jess Glynne confirms new music is on the way
We've been waiting a while
It's been two long years since Jess Glynne last released solo music, in the form of 'This Christmas', and now it seems that she will be making a return to the charts in 2023.
Jess returned to social media earlier this year, with a cover of Beyoncé's 'Break My Soul', when she freestyled lyrics to the tune, hinting at new music.
Now, three months later, Jess has cleared her Twitter account and posted a selection of photos, along with a short black and white video captioned: 'See you next year 🖤'.
Although there isn't much information on Jess' new music, fans are already very excited. One wrote: 'CANT Wait!!!!', with another saying: 'OMG SEE YOU IN 2023 QUEEN ❤️'. A third commented: 'Daaaaaaaling!!!!! Looking forward to your coming back! We’ll be RIGHT HERE!!! Big hug! 😘😘😘🤗🤗🤗'. (sic)
The BRIT Award winner has recently been signed to a new label, EMI, which she is really excited about. Speaking of her new deal, Jess Glynne said: "I can’t wait for the world to hear my new music. It’s been a journey and I feel blessed to have such a powerful new team. It’s time."
Speaking about their new signing, EMI co-presidents Rebecca Allen and Jo Charrington said: "We are thrilled to announce that Jess Glynne has signed to the EMI label. Jess is a rarity amongst artists, a multi award winning singer-songwriter, whose voice has defined a generation.
"It’s incredible to think that Jess first released 'My Love' with Route 94 back in 2014 via the EMI label. To come full circle and have Jess back within the label is just brilliant. We are excited to work alongside Jess and Roc Nation delivering this next defining chapter together."
With the new management deal, Jess is in good company as other artists signed to the same label include Rihanna, Elton John, Taylor Swift, Sam Smith, and Lewis Capaldi.
