DJ Jax Jones joined us backstage ahead of his amazing performance at Hits Live Birmingham on Saturday 16th November, telling us about the most romantic thing he's ever done for his wife, his feelings towards I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, and who the most famous person to ever show up at one of his shows is.

Jax, who has massive bangers like 'All Day and Night', and 'Instruction', told presenter Jordan Lee the reason why he'd never appear on a ITV's I'm A Celebrity, despite the show being massively popular in the UK.

Admitting he is 'grossed out' by the show, Jax told Jordan, "I don’t watch because it’s proper gross. If my career was in the absolute bin, i don't think I could go on it."

We couldn't cope either Jax! 🙈

The DJ also told us about how he gets hyped for such big shows like Hits Live Birmingham, saying, "It’s deep, deep concentrate. I make sure I get my nutrition, I get my fruit, my five-a-day. I round it off with some circuits, some press ups and that, then I round it all off with a shot of tequila."

Of course, if you've ever seen Jax Jones perform live you'll know he puts on an absolutely incredible show, so it's no surprise he gets a lot of special guests turning up to his shows.

Telling Jordan the most famous person to ever turn up to one of his gigs, Jax said, "I think like Demi Lovato came to my show in LA, but I knew she was coming, she told me she was coming. That was it really, so i’m trying to step it up with the Queen."

He later added, "I get loads of influences come to my show. Basically everyone from Love Island comes to my shows. Big up Kem. Ovie is cool as well."

Jax Jones is known for his fantastic collaborations including, 'You Don't Know Me' with RAYE, 'Breathe' with Ina Wroldsen and 'Ring Ring' with Mabel. Jax dropped his debut album 'Snacks (Supersize)' in September 2019 and it included many more fantastic collaborations, including ' All Day and Night', which was a collaboration with French DJ Martin Solveig, featuring the massively talented Madison Beer.

The fantastic line-up at Hits Live Birmingham included The Script, Lewis Capaldi, Rita Ora, Craig David, Sigala, Jax Jones, John Newman, Becky Hill and RAYE.

Hits Live will be back next year! Don't miss your chance to see more fantastic artists all in one place.
