James Arthur reveals who he wants to win The X Factor: Celebrity
He joined us backstage at Hits Live Liverpool

'Say You Won't Let Go' singer James Arthur joined us backstage ahead of his headline performance at Hits Live Liverpool on Friday 15th November, where he spoke to presenter Fleur East about his new album 'You', his plans for Christmas, and of course, that amazing performance on The X Factor: Celebrity.
Of course, if you don't already know, James returned to The X Factor stage a few weeks back, where he brilliantly performed his amazing single 'Quite Miss Home', so we just had to ask him who he thinks will win the celebrity version of the show.
Speaking to Fleur, James revealed he thinks former TOWIE star Megan McKenna will win this year's show, saying, "I think Megan McKenna will win, she’s really good. It’s like a country vibe and she’s really good at it so i think she will win."
Meanwhile, ahead of his performance to the sold-out crowd at Hits Live Liverpool, James also confirmed he still gets nervous before performances. He told Fleur, "Yeah of course, it's always different I think. Shows like this, you’ve got a great line-up and I’m last on the bill so I don't know if that means people are expecting something massive from me.”
With the release of the 2019 John Lewis advert in the last week, we wanted to know if James would ever be up for performing the single for the hugely-popular adverts. He joked, "Who wouldn’t it’s probably a lot of money!"
He then added, "I’m just joking it’s not about the money I don’t know how it works, do you audition for it? Is there a man called John Lewis somewhere?"
We'd love to know James! 🙈
James has recently released his new single, 'Quite Miss Home'. The Hits Live performer confirmed his new single along with the release of his new album 'YOU', with an emotional video. The black and white video features James explaining his inspiration for the album and how the album is about his fans.
James joined the fantastic line-up at Hits Live Liverpool which included, John Newman, Jax Jones, Sigala, Freya Ridings, Becky Hill, RAYE, Joel Corry and HRVY.

James Arthur joined us at Hits Live last year, where he told us what it was like working with Anne-Marie on 'Rewrite The Stars'. He told us how 'down to earth' Anne-Marie was, with him admitting she pretty much choreographed him when the pair were shooting the incredible video.
