Harry Styles reveals his true feelings about Ed Sheeran

On the day that Harry Styles dropped his debut solo single 'Sign of the Times', our very own Darryl Morris from the evening show, caught up with him to ask him about his good friend Ed Sheeran.

Harry described Ed as "one of the most talented dudes" he's ever met, saying he has an amazing knowledge of music and he is someone you could always depend on.

Earlier this year we met Ed Sheeran backstage at The BRITs and asked him if he had heard Harry's new music. The ‘Thinking Out Loud’ singer said the album, "really shows him off as an artist and a singer," although he couldn't reveal much more about it.

Harry shot to fame back in 2010 when he auditioned for The X Factor as a solo artist. Later in the show, music mogul Simon Cowell assembled boyband One Direction made up of Harry, Liam Payne, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik.

Despite finishing third on the show, One Direction went on to become one of the biggest selling boybands and scored a massive 14 top ten hits, including four number ones.

Last year Harry sent fans into meltdown when he shaved off his luscious long locks for charity. The 23-year-old donated his hair to the Little Princess Trust and fans couldn’t wait to get a glimpse of his new look.
