His brilliant anthem ‘Let Me Go’ only came out this week but Gary Barlow is already eyeing up his next single release!

The X Factor judge has today announced that his epic duet with Elton John, entitled ‘Face to Face’, will be released on 20th January 2014.

Recorded in just four hours at London’s Abbey Road Studios, the classic song was penned by Gary with John Shanks who produced the Take That albums ‘Beautiful World’ and ‘The Circus’ and co-wrote their massive no.1 ‘Patience’.

It’s not the first time Gary and Sir Elton have worked together. Back in 1994, Gary provided backing vocals on ‘Can You Feel The Love Tonight’ from Disney’s The Lion King.

The ‘Face to Face’ music video was directed by Chris Howe and filmed when the pair were recording the song at Abbey Road.

It will premiere on VEVO on Monday (25th November) morning - the very day Gary releases his first solo album in 14 years, ‘Since I Saw You Last’.

The album’s lead single ‘Let Me Go’ is currently battling it out for the UK number one spot with Bastille’s ‘Of The Night’.

Gary will then face another chart battle next week when ‘Since I Saw You Last’ goes head-to-head with One Direction’s ‘Midnight Memories’.

Over his two-decade music career, Gary has scored eight number one albums and 13 UK no.1 singles plus he’s sold seven million concert tickets and more than 50 million records worldwide. Impressive stuff!
