'Ghost' singer Ella Henderson joined the sold-out show at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool, along with Ed Sheeran, The Script, Mimi Webb, Mabel, Becky Hill, Tom Grennan and Joel Corry. And she told us all about her backstage chat with Ed Sheeran.

Next year, Hits Live will have THREE incredible shows, as we head to Liverpool on the 20th May 2022, Manchester on the 11th November 2022 and Birmingham on the 12th November 2022. Buy next year's tickets at this year's prices now!

Ella revealed backstage to Tom Green that she was really looking forward to taking to the stage. "I can’t wait. I can’t wait to get out there. See a live crowd," she explained.

The X Factor singer went on to say, "It's the one chance us as artists get to like mingle with other artists. Like we are always doing our own schedules and our own things. So yeah, I'm well excited to be here and to watch other people’s sets."

And, it turns out that Ella just happened to be hanging out with some of the big names at Hits Live Liverpool backstage, including Ed Sheeran and Tom Grennan!

"I have just been chilling with Tom and Ed in the dressing room," she told us, going on to explain that the topic of conversation wasn't particularly pleasant!

"We were just talking about how Ed had a really bad stomach problem when he went away. I probably shouldn’t say this story, but it was so graphic it actually traumatised me! But no, yeah, we were just catching up."

The 'Glow' singer then revealed that she thought Ed was: "The most genuine person you will ever meet in this industry," continuing: "I will say that hands down.

"Like whenever I come across him, he is literally like, he is just like you're off for a pint at the pub."
