Dua Lipa reveals the inspiration behind her second album

Pop star of the moment Dua Lipa has revealed details of her forthcoming second album. The 'New Rules' singer, who is currently on a UK tour, has already started working on the follow-up to her debut top five selling album.
Speaking to GQ magazine the BRIT Award winning singer said, “It’s very much dance crying. It is a pop album that you’re going to be able to dance to, but a lot of the songs are sad."
She went on to explain, "They’re about heartbreak and they’re about going through some emotional manipulation. It kind of sucks that that’s the thing that really triggers my creativity, but happy things don’t seem to do it for me.
“Now I feel it’s a proper story. It’s all relevant to one idea.”
Dua knows her style, and according to her manager Ben Mawson, even turned down some 'surefire' hits written by other songwriters for her debut album, because she didn't feel they suited her style.
The 22-year-old singer has previously revealed the unusual inspiration behind her award-winning music, which includes hits 'New Rules' and 'IDGAF'. Speaking to Rolling Stone she explained that some of ex-boyfriends were inspiration, along with something she saw on the microblogging website Tumblr!
She said, "Some ex-boyfriends were emotionally manipulative. And then I dated this guy who literally would never eat a single vegetable. I was like, 'This is terrible. You eat like a five-year-old. I’m f--king out'.
Dua then shared a 12 second teaser of the track, writing, 'ONE KISS w/ @CalvinHarris is out!! I hope this makes you wanna dance till your hearts content xxx'. sic
The single, which has a tropical vibe and catchy lyrics, was an immediate hit with fans.
