Here at Hits Radio we were lucky enough to have Craig David join us to perform three exclusive tracks, including an incredible acoustic version of his single ‘7 Days’.

While we had Craig with us in session we just had to catch up with the man who has now had a career spanning nearly two decades! We asked him all about his new album, what it’s like to have two generations enjoying his music and also what advice he’d give his 16-year-old self.

Darryl Morris from the evening show sat down with the R&B singer and even squeezed in a few of your questions, including who are the most famous people he’s had at his concerts (it is an IMPRESSIVE list).

Almost 18 years since it stormed to the top of the UK singles chart, Craig performed a stripped back version of arguably his defining anthem for us while flanked by an acoustic guitarist.

Showcasing Craig’s prowess as a truly phenomenal live performer, the stunning acoustic version added a new dimension to the ‘Born To Do It’ classic.

Craig's seventh studio album, 'The Time Is Now' which features hit songs 'I Know You' and 'Heartline' is out now!

Craig will be looking to repeat the success of his last album released in 2016. 'Following My Intuition' spent 24 weeks on the chart and hit the top spot.
