Following the announcement that Clean Bandit would be joining us in Manchester, Hattie Pearson caught up with Grace to chat about their latest song 'Cry Baby', a collaboration with David Guetta and Anne-Marie, confirming they will be performing the song at our gig.

The music video for 'Cry Baby' takes place on a train, and stars all members of Clean Bandit, along with David Guetta and Anne-Marie, although there is also another well-known face in the video, famous trainspotter Francis Bourgeois.

When Hattie asked Grace how they managed to get him to appear in the music video, she explained: "So we just DMed him, because we were trying to work out how to make the outside of the train look."

"We'd built the inside, but then outside we were creating virtually and we wanted it to kind of be realistic with where the dining carriage was sitting in terms of the sleeper carriage, and everything."

Grace continued: "So we DMed him to ask if we could consult with him on how to create it. We had this late night phone call on FaceTime and we got on so well. Because we have trains in pretty much all of our music videos, it's been a running theme. So we had a lot to chat about and then we asked him if he wanted to be in the video and he was like, yeah! So he came and he performed the whistle actually at the start of the track."

We cannot wait to see Grace perform along with the rest of Clean Bandit at Hits Radio Live Manchester. Tickets are now available to buy for both Hits Radio Live Manchester, and Hits Radio Live Birmingham, with the line-up of Olly Alexander, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Sigala, Joel Corry, Ella Henderson, Tom Walker and Sugababes.
