As fans of James Bond will know, the most recent film in the franchise, No Time To Die, hit cinemas on 30th September 2021 - and since we had our latest fix, we can't help but think forwards to the next film - from who will play 007, to who will sing the title track. With rumours swirling, there's one name in particular that the odds seem to be in favour of...

In the past, we've had HUGE names such as Adele, Sam Smith and Billie Eilish bring us incredible theme songs - 'Skyfall', 'Writing's On The Wall' and 'No Time To Die' - and now, none other than 'Houdini' icon Dua Lipa is rumoured to be leading the next soundtrack.

In July 2024, it appeared that Dua was the bookies favourite to take on the honourable task of singing the next Bond theme tune - with her odds sat at 6/4, landing her at a 40% probability. Following Sabrina Carpenter's recent success with hits such as 'Espresso' and 'Please Please Please', it won't come as a surprise that she closely followed, with odds at 2/1 and a 33.3% probability.

Next up was Lady Gaga - who is set to release new music very soon, in the form of 'L7' - with odds at 5/2 (28.6% probability), followed by Taylor Swift at 3/1 (25% probability).

Other names in the running include Ed Sheeran, SZA, Harry Styles, Sir Elton John, Celine Dion, Megan Thee Stallion, Lana Del Rey, Lewis Capaldi, Ellie Goulding and Raye.

July 2024 odds have been supplied by Gambling.com.

The recent odds follow November 2023's numbers, which saw 'As It Was' singer Harry Styles top the bill as the favourite to bag the all-important gig, with William Hill revealing his odds as 2/1 at the time, followed by Ellie Goulding at 4/1, Lewis Capaldi at 5/1 and then Ed Sheeran at 7/1.

Although no details about the next Bond film have been confirmed, we've gathered together a list of the artists rumoured to be singing the next title track - as well as a few that we just think would be perfect!

James Bond rumours: Who will sing the next theme song?

Dua Lipa

With worldwide hits such as 'One Kiss' and 'Dance The Night', and the recent success of her latest tracks like 'Houdini' and 'Training Season', it comes as no surprise that fans are desperate to hear her perform a Bond track.

Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus has been releasing hits since she was a young teenager, and is new responsible for huge tracks such as 'Wrecking Ball', 'Midnight Sky', 'Prisoner' and 'Mother's Daughter'.

Sabrina Carpenter

Shooting to superstardom with hits like 'Nonsense', 'Feather', 'Espresso' and 'Please Please Please', Sabrina became a household name, with plenty of fans keen to hear her take on the honourable role of singing the next Bond theme.

Lana Del Rey

Known for incredible songs such as 'Summertime Sadness', 'National Anthem' and 'Video Games', Lana's soothing and mysterious voice would be perfect for a James Bond theme song.

Lorde

Huge hits such as 'Royals' and 'Tennis Court' put Lorde on the map, as well as the epic release of her 2021 album 'Solar Power'. With her recently enterting the charts with her Charlie XCX collab, it's clear she isn't slowing down any time soon.

Lewis Capaldi

Lewis topped the charts with his incredible second album, the follow-up from his debut 'Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent' in 2019 which hit the Number 1 spot. Maybe he can get his creative juices flowing and fit some time in for a quick Bond theme?

Elton John

Surprisingly enough, the legendary Sir Elton John has never sang a James Bond theme song. Could the next Bond film be the 'Rocketman' singer's time to shine?

Sam Fender

After his debut album 'Hypersonic Missiles' flew to the Number 1 spot back in 2019, Sam Fender hasn't failed to impress us since. Releasing his second album 'Seventeen Going Under' in October 2021, it's clear that he is incredibly talented - and isn't stopping any time soon!

Harry Styles

Since leaving his X Factor formed band One Direction, Harry Styles has gone from one success to another - releasing huge singles such as 'Golden', 'Sign of the Times' and 'Adore You', as well as the award-winning 'Watermelon Sugar'. We couldn't think of anything better than a Bond theme from this chap...

Taylor Swift

The list of iconic tracks released by Taylor Swift is endless - and now that the singer is re-recording and releasing her classics, why not throw a Bond theme song in there?!

Beyoncé

Aah - the age old dream. A popular contender for the Bond theme pretty much every time round, maybe we'll finally hear Beyoncé sing the title track for the next film.

Ellie Goulding

In November 2023, it was revealed that Ellie was one of the favourites to voice the upcoming theme song for the next Bond film, with her odds at the time sitting at 4/1.

Ed Sheeran

Returning to music in 2021 with his epic album '=', we've heard huge tunes from Ed such as 'Bad Habits' and 'Shivers'. With legendary tunes such as 'Shape Of You' and 'Perfect' under his belt, why not add a Bond theme to his repertoire too?

It appears that Ed is ready and rearing to go, revealing on The Late Late Show back in 2017: "I've had a theme tune written for about three years. I'm not going to say (the title) because someone might steal it, but it's good."

Lil Nas X

Hey, never say never! After the roaring success of Lil Nas X's tracks 'Old Town Road' and 'Panini', as well as his huge debut album 'MONTERO', we see huge things on the horizon for this singer!

Duran Duran

Could 'Girls On Film' legends Duran Duran also be in the running? The band appeared on This Morning and gushed over Billie Eilish and her work on 'No Time To Die', admitting that they would love to record the next Bond theme.
