Here’s what Lex from the 1993 film Jurassic Park looks like now
Ariana Richards attended the latest film's premiere
Back in 1993, we were all finding a trembling glass of water extremely frightening as we knew it meant that a T-Rex was nearby. Not in real life, but in the amazing Steven Spielberg film Jurassic Park. One of the actors making the fear seem so real was Ariana Richards, who played a young girl named Lex Murphy. Playing John Hammond's (Richard Attenborough) granddaughter, Ariana reprised her role in the 1997 sequel The Lost World: Jurassic Park. Now, 25 years on from the role that made her famous, Ariana has made an appearance at the Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom premiere and here's what she looks like all grown up...
Ariana was just 12-years-old when she battled a T-Rex and raptors on screen alongside an all star cast consisting of Sam Neil, Laura Dern, Richard Attenborough, Samuel L. Jackson and Jeff Goldblum, who reprises his role of Dr. Ian Malcolm in the latest instalment. Jurassic Park was based on the 1990 novel of the same name by Michael Crichton and at the time of release became the highest-grossing film released worldwide.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is the latest film in the franchise and sees Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) and Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard) battling to save the dinosaurs from another extinction as a volcano is due to erupt on the island where they have all been left after the events of Jurassic World.
