Gemma Atkinson accidentally eats dog biscuits on air
This is why you always read the ingredients list!

Dog-loving Gemma Atkinson bit off more than she could chew on Hits Radio Breakfast show after mistaking some dog biscuits she'd been sent for actual biscuits.
She offered the canine cookies to co-presenter Dave Vitty who quickly suspected the switch up.
Dave dared Gemma to eat a biscuit as punishment for her not paying attention to the label which clearly stated they were not intended for human consumption.
Gemma took a bite and lasted about three seconds before confirming that these biscuits were indeed not intended for her.
Watch Gemma's error here:
As you can see she almost immediately spat out the dog treats. Unfortunately, she chose to spit them back into the box instead of a bin, ruining them for her own pets Norman and Ollie.
In Gemma's defence the box didn't say they were dog biscuits and the warning that these weren't intended for her was written right at the end of a long letter.
As Gemma said:
"It's an A4 sheet of paper, I ain't got time to read it."
Maybe this experience will make her slightly more attentive to any future mysterious confectionary in the post. Come to think of it I can't think of any time I've been sent biscuits in the post. Would properly cheer my day up that. So long as they were intended for me and not my pets.
In fairness to Gemma, Dave Vitty also used a pretty convincing argument to get Gemma to try the dog biscuits:
"You love your dogs, you like to kiss them and be one with them. Eat it."
On second thoughts, I might have taken slightly more convincing than that.
