Years & Years are performing at Hits Radio Live and we caught up with the band backstage at Manchester Arena to find out all the gossip. Sarah-Jane Crawford, Hits Radio Evening Show presenter asked the 'King' band how it was meeting Rihanna last month, something that they were VERY excited about. Years & Years frontman Olly Alexander said, "She had an aura," going on to describe her as "invincible and just so glamorous".

Watch the full interview below.

When Olly met Rihanna he took to Instagram to show his excitement.

Speaking to Sarah-Jane Crawford, they also revealed how they managed to get Dame Judi Dench to narrate the trailer for their new album 'Palo Santos'. The group joked that they had "tricked her," going on to say, "We told her we were Coldplay!"

However, Olly later admitted that they had a contact because he was in a play with her many years ago. When asked about the filming of the trailer, they revealed they recorded it at Dame Judi's house and they "ate crisps and drank Champagne".

Olly Alexander, Mikey Goldsworthy and Emre Türkmen, better known as Years & Years, have had a number of Top 10 singles including ‘King’ and ‘Shine’.

This year alone, Years & Years have released two singles including their latest one, ‘If You're Over Me', which reached Number 6 in the UK charts. The London-based band also dropped their latest album, 'Palo Santo' earlier this month and the limited edition box set also came with a gift of temporary tattoos.

Whilst backstage Sarah-Jane also asked them how they managed to convince Dame Judi Dench to narrate the trailer for their album.
