The X Factor: Simon Cowell admits he made "two big mistakes" in Six Chair Challenge
He was unusually indecisive on the show
Last night’s Six Chair Challenge on The X Factor was undoubtedly one of the most dramatic ever!
Struck by a chronic bout of indecisiveness, X Factor supremo and Overs mentor Simon Cowell badly struggled to make final decisions and had to rely on the audience reaction to swap and change several artists.
Eventually settling on Bupsi, Jennifer Philips, Ebru, Anton Stephans, Max Stone and Kerrie Anne, before the show even aired Simon took to Twitter to admit he’d made two massive mistakes.
He told his 12.4million followers: “I have just watched Sunday's episode of the X Factor 6 Chair Challenge! Gulp. I think I have made two big mistakes!”
Aside from his indecisiveness, Simon drew criticism from some people on social media for his harsh comments towards Max Stone – who eventually featured in his final six.
Returning to his Mr Nasty persona of old (presumably in a bid to revive viewing figures), Simon told Max he looked “half dead.”
He blasted: “I’m trying to make you fun here, but I’m failing.”
Simon’s view was quickly changed when the crowd erupted during his rousing rendition of Bob Marley ’s ‘Turn Your Lights Down Low.’
The X Factor judges’ houses episodes air on ITV this coming Saturday and Sunday.
