WATCH: Students walk out of Katie Hopkins talk

Katie Hopkins, you may know her as being the only candidate to turn down Lord Sugar on The Apprentice, or more likely for the controversial comments she makes on a whole host of subjects. Put simply, she tends to make people mad.

However the outspoken reality 'star' was left red faced after her turning up for a sold out talk at Brunel University only for the students to turn their backs and then eventually walk out.

Joe Nicell is Brunel Student Union’s communications manager and told The Independent: “It was mainly that we didn’t feel she fitted the debate and she wasn’t the right person to be speaking.”

Ali Milani, President of Brunel’s student union then added it is not about objecting to Katie's right to speak but protesting to the University that it is distasteful to "provide a platform to someone who adds nothing to the intellectual or academic discourse; and an individual who publicly utters such overtly bigoted views."
