WATCH: Channing Tatum reflects on his Lip Sync Battle performance
Dressed as Beyoncé it was the first time he had met the singer.
Magic Mike star Channing Tatum recently appeared on the American TV show Lip Sync Battle with Beyoncé, which he says was "the first time" they had ever met.
Speaking to Ellen DeGeneres on The Ellen DeGeneres Show the 35-year-old actor explained how the situation came about.
"I had never met her before" Channing said, "I won't even tell you what I had to do to essentially get her assistant's phone number.
"I didn't even have the intention of her coming...I had gotten through the grapevine that Jenna (his wife) was going to bring out Paula and I was like 'who can I bring out, I know Beyoncé's not going to come'."
However Queen Bey DID come and the result was a fantastic performance of 'Run The World (Girls)' with Channing strutting his stuff wearing a skin-coloured top, fake black bra and black hot pants.
