Andy's boyfriend entered the house during a task
There was a big surprise for the Big Brother housemates when Andy West's boyfriend entered the house and popped the question live on TV.
Andy’s boyfriend Ed joined the house as part of a new task, but moments after his arrival Andy and his fellow housemates were left with a big surprise.

After being reunited, Ed said “Hello my handsome beautiful gorgeous man” making the journalist burst into tears before falling onto his knees. In an emotional state, he then said “I can’t live without you”.
It was actually Andy who proposed the question first when he asked Ed “Will you marry me” but then Ed took it one step further, dropping to his knees and presenting a ring.

Ed then said “Grey and old baby. It will do until you get out’” before Andy replied “You forgot how skinny I am” before adding “I’m so lucky. I knew it before but being in there… I can’t live without you.”

The pair then told the rest of the house their good news with Andy shouting “I’m gonna be a bride!”
Big Brother tweeted the happy news on their official Twitter account.
It's a bit of good news for Andy after previously going through a tough time in the house. The journalist has been at war with fellow housemate Hughie Maughan since the other’s joined the main house. The pair were at each other’s throats yet again over the weekend when Hughie called him a ‘liar’.
Andy’s boyfriend entered the house in a new twist by BB bosses in an attempt to shake things up. The show released a video on their Snapchat account showing the four people who are set to enter this coming week.
As well as Andy’s boyfriend, Laura Carter’s ex boyfriend, Hughie’s mum and Emma’s boyfriend are also set to enter in the coming days.
Big Brother is yet to confirm how long the new housemates will stay but we are sure it will bring more drama to the series.
