Fans of ITV drama The Bay were over the moon last year when bosses announced the popular show would be returning for a second series with actress Morven Christie, and when the show launches on Wednesday 20th January, viewers may or may not notice one of the new characters.

If you cast your minds back to EastEnders between 2006-2010, you'll most likely remember an actor called Thomas Law, who played Ian Beale's son Peter.

Well, despite being under the radar for 10 years since he departed from the soap, Thomas is now back in the world of acting and has landed himself a role on series two of The Bay.

Thomas will play the role of DC Eddie Martin in the new series, and if the clips for the new show are anything to go by, he looks totally different!

Thomas is now 28-years-old and is a keen musician, often posting videos of himself singing and playing the guitar.

The former EastEnders star recently posted a video of himself covering Marvin Gaye's 'Ain't No Mountain High Enough'.

Fans were quick to comment on the video, expressing their love for Thomas' music skills. One wrote, 'I always love these! 😁', with another adding, 'My favorite song playing by you, what a day! 😍💕🙌'.

Another then wrote, 'I can't stop listening your voice. It's so beautiful😭🔥🔥🔥😍'. (sic)

Thomas was the fifth actor to play the role of Peter Beale in EastEnders, after he left the show in 2010 to portray the role of Peter Pan in a stage show, Ben Hardy took over in 2013.

You can catch Thomas make his debut on The Bay when series two begins on ITV on Wednesday 20th January.
