Taylor Swift returned to music back in 2017, with her comeback single 'Look What You Made Me Do' and her highly acclaimed album and subsequent tour 'reputation'. However, the pop star, who has recently ended her 'reputation' tour, has just announced some bad news to fans who have downloaded her Swift Life app.

Calling time on the app, which was launched along with Taylor Swift's album in December 2017, a statement was posted on the official Swift Life Twitter account, which read, 'As the reputation era comes to an end, our time on The Swift Live will be ending too.' It continued, 'We would like to thank all of the dedicated fans who have downloaded The Swift Life, engaged with this amazing community and created gorgeous pieces of content for others to enjoy.'

Sad news for fans!

To coincide with the launch of The Swift Life, Taylor released a video promoting the app, which allowed fans to connect and listen to new music.

The news of the app closing down comes just a few days after a Netflix documentary following Taylor's 'reputation' tour was released. The documentary followed the pop star on her world tour, on what became the highest-selling tour in US history. The amazing show included a fantastic experience with pyro, fireworks, multiple stages and of course, her 63-foot cobra named Karyn!

Joining Taylor on tour were Camila Cabello and Charli XCX. As well as supporting the pop star, they treated fans to a performance of 'Shake It Off' with Taylor during her set.

In other Taylor news, she wowed fans with her amazing fancy dress costume for her New Year's Eve party. The photos posted to Instagram showed the singer looking stunning as Ariel from The Little Mermaid, whilst Blake Lively dressed as Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz and Gigi Hadid as Mary Poppins.
