Shayne Ward reveals he's expecting his first child with Sophie Austin

X Factor winner and Coronation Street star Shayne Ward has announced that he is expecting his first child with girlfriend Sophie Austin.
Shayne and Sophie both tweeted to confirm the news.
The former Hollyoaks actress then tweeted a similar message.
Ward then thanked well-wishes on his and Sophie's behalf.
The pair only debuted their relationship a couple of months ago at Paula Lane's (Kylie in Coronation Street) leaving party. The pair had been friends a while but became close when Sophie's 9-month marriage to her partner of 6 years came to an end last year.
Despite only marrying Graeme Rooney in July last year, the actress confirmed the marriage was over in March saying, “Very sadly, my husband and I separated a little while ago. The breakdown of any long-term relationship is always difficult and this is no exception."
She went on to say, "We’ve been best friends for so many years and I will always care for him dearly.”
Singer turned actor Shayne currently plays Aidan Connor in Coronation Street and Sophie is best known for her role as Lindsey in Hollyoaks. The actress bowed out of the soap in May after being revealed as the 'Gloved Hand Killer' responsible for murdering other popular characters.
