Selena Gomez reveals why she deleted Instagram

The amazing Selena Gomez joined Hits Radio to talk about her new single 'Wolves', Liam Payne and how she has decided to step away from Instagram.

Selena might be the most followed person on Instagram, but she finds the idea "hysterical" explaining it's not something that she actively tried to "keep up".

In fact it was just earlier this month that the 25-year-old singer made her Instagram account private sending fans into a frenzy.

Selena said she's actually deleted the Instagram app from her devices saying, "I think for me it's good to step away, I love seeing what's in front of me and making sure I pay attention to that."

However, she also admitted that she has been guilty of 'late night Instagram scrolling', in the past. The 'Bad Liar' singer used to start and end her day scrolling through Instagram, but not anymore!

Selena went on to talk about her gorgeous dog Charlie. She grew up with dogs in her house, but now she has the opportunity to have her very own and despite being a lot of responsibility she's very happy. She told Key 103 that Charlie is a little puppy and currently in the phase where he chews through everything, including her clothes!

She went on to admit that she's a fan of dog accessories, although Charlie doesn't have any clothes, he does a have a beautiful bag.

During the interview Selena also hinted that she sees her touring in the very near future. She said she is creating her album for a tour, revealing "it will be sooner than people think!"
