The showbiz world was SHOCKED when photos of comedian Seann Walsh kissing his Strictly Come Dancing partner Katya Jones emerged. The pair had gone for a drink after getting through to the next round of Strictly Come Dancing on the evening of Seann's (now ex) girlfriend Rebecca Humphries' birthday when the photos were taken of them kissing in the street.

Rebecca, who had been sat at home alone that evening, publicly dumped Seann, who stayed in the competition for three more weeks before he and his partner Katya - who is married to fellow professional Neil Jones - were booted off the show.

Taking to Twitter, Rebecca wrote a powerful statement to affirm that she was 'not a victim', and that she'd been vindicated after suspecting something was happening between the two of them, writing, 'He aggressively, and repeatedly, called me a psycho - as he has done countless times throughout our relationship when I've questioned his hurtful behaviour.'

Thankfully, Rebecca has been able to move past her relationship with Seann, and has now opened up about how it felt to see those photos splashed across newspapers - admitting that she's GLAD it all came out that way.

Speaking to podcast The Hotbed, Humphries said: "I'm glad that it happened this way, because otherwise I would never have known that I am not crazy. So I'm glad it came out, I know I'm embroiled in this television's programme's history now, I obviously thought it would be because I went on it and won it!

"But it's just my circumstance and I can't feel bitter about it, I can't feel angry or vengeful about it, it's just how it is, really."

She added that her statement after the incident was more in reference to Seann's previous treatment of her, rather than of that particular issue, "I know these things happen but I hope that it's clear that I wasn't responding to that particular incident; it was the attempt by a person to make me question myself in order to get away with doing whatever they liked."

It's since been rumoured that Seann has not been invited to take part in the Strictly Come Dancing live tour next year, with a source saying, "The Strictly tour is a really wholesome, family-fun event. It's all about good, clean fun and we don't think a man who snogs married women in the street fits that image."

The Strictly Come Dancing final will air on BBC One at 6.30pm on Saturday.
