Russell Brand says becoming a dad for the first time to new daughter Mabel has made him re-evaluate his priorities.

The controversial comedian welcomed his new addition in November with girlfriend Laura Gallacher. The new chapter in his life is serving as inspiration for his new stand-up tour Re: Birth, which he'll be taking all over the country.

Speaking to our Entertainment Hub, Russell said Mabel makes him look at the world differently.

'It makes you realise you should love everyone in the way you love your child', Russell reflected.

Russell also responded to claims that he planned to raise his daughter 'gender neutral', saying the comment he made should be taken as a 'joke'.

'I respect the idea of gender neutrality, but I don't have a system for raising this baby'

Russell has had his fair share of controversy during his career, including run-ins with Hugo Boss, The Royal Family and that infamous phone message to Andrew Sachs with Jonathan Ross.

Despite this, he says that he has 'no regrets', saying 'who you are is who you are'.
