Robert Downey Jr makes fun of Tom Hiddleston as he welcomes him to Instagram
Robert welcomed him in the best way!
Actor Robert Downey showed his cheeky side when he welcomed his Marvel co-star Tom Hiddleston to Instagram.
Tom posted his first snap to the photo sharing site in a costume as Thor’s brother and captioned the snap with ‘He’s back’.
Clearly seeing the funny side, Robert replied to the photo by posting that picture of Tom wearing a ‘I heart T.S' vest top during his very public holiday with girlfriend Taylor Swift last month. He captioned the hilarious shot with ‘Join me in welcoming the biggest T.Stark fan of them all to Instagram! @twhiddleston’.
Fans of the pair were quick to comment on the Iron Man actor’s photo. One user wrote ‘I laughed for a straight 5 minutes!’ while another wrote ‘Taylor Swift and Tony Stark! I love them both!’
Don’t panic thought, before you start thinking the newest social media war could be about to erupt, remember both Tom and Robert are the best of friends despite playing on-screen enemies.
Robert plays popular action hero Iron Man (AKA Tony Stark) whilst Tom plays his number one enemy Loki in the popular Marvel Avengers films, so it seems the new Instagram post is all just a bit of friendly banter.
After seemingly spending the whole month of July together, it seems Taylor and Tom are now spending more time apart as they pair focus on their careers.
Tom is appearing as Loki in the new film Thor: Ragnarok which is set for release in 2017.
Meanwhile Taylor has been pictured outside of a gym in New York working up a sweat.
