P!NK reveals she and son Jameson both tested positive to Coronavirus in emotional post
They were showing symptoms
Like many around the world, P!NK has been self-isolating with her family, however the singer has now revealed that both she and her song Jameson tested positive to Coronavirus, known as COVID-19, three weeks ago.
The singer explained in a long post on social media that her and her son had both been experiencing some symptoms of the virus, and were tested by their doctor. The test results were positive and as P!NK explained, 'My family was already sheltering at home and we continued to do so for the last two weeks following the instruction of our doctor.'
She then went on to reveal that last week they were both re-tested and the results were negative, saying, 'This illness is serious and real. People need to know that the illness affects the young and old, healthy and unhealthy, rich and poor, and we must make testing free and more widely accessible to protect our children, our families, our friends and our communities.'
P!NK went on to say that she was donating a total of a $1 million to two different causes. $500,000 would be to, 'Temple University Hospital Emergency Fund in Philadelphia in honor of my mother, Judy Moore, who worked there for 18 years in the Cardiomyopathy and Heart Transplant Center.' (sic)
The other $500,000 would be donated to the, 'City of Los Angeles Mayor’s Emergency COVID-19 Crisis Fund.'
The 'Walk Me Home' singer signed off her caption saying, 'These next two weeks are crucial: please stay home. Please. Stay. Home.❤️'
Despite being self-isolating, P!NK continues to entertain her fans with her regular posts on social media.
