David and Victoria Beckham are reportedly set to buy an absolutely stunning £27million estate in the Cotswolds.

The couple were spotted house hunting in the region last week and now they’re being linked to the sprawling Abbotswood Estate in Stow-on-the-Wold.

The Grade-II Listed main building boasts 10 bedrooms, six bathrooms and five reception rooms plus there are 13 separate cottages in its grounds – handy for when they have guests staying over.

Set in 22 acres of countryside, the estate also boasts picturesque gardens designed by famous landscape architect Edwin Lutyens, fishing on the River Dikler, lakes, parkland and woodland. Oh, and there are 1,800 sheep to look after too.

According to reports, David and Victoria visited the property last week and took a stroll around its generous grounds.

On the same trip they were photographed visiting a local convenience shop in nearby Nailsworth and bought some grub from Greedy’s take away.

Greedy’s owner Ian Shoemark told the Daily Mirror: "They had sausage and chips and (David) was very friendly. It would be lovely if they had a home here."

David, Victoria and their children Brooklyn, Harper, Romeo and Cruz are currently renting while their four-storey £31.5million Kensington mansion is being renovated.

The couple also own a £13million villa in Beverley Hills, a £2.6million holiday home in the south of France, and a property in Dubai. How the other half live, eh?!
