Phil Mitchel (AKA Steve McFadden) is known to most as the tough man in EastEnders but the actor has shown off his fun side at a recent event.
Actor Steve McFadden was invited to attend a student Freshers' party in Plymouth and totally let his hair down (not literally).
According to a Plymouth news publication, the soap star was massive hit with students and was more than happy to pose for photos.
Event organisers gave out Phil Mitchell masks for the ‘Cheese and Union” party.
Attendees were quick to upload their snaps with Steve to their social media accounts to show just how fun the event looked.
Steve is a massive EastEnders legend having appeared on the soap since 1990 and earlier in the week the actor expressed his fears over his character being written out of the soap following his current alcohol abuse storyline.
In the coming weeks, viewers will see Phil undergo a liver transplant after his son Ben donated his organ for the surgery.
The soap continues weeknights.
