One Direction's Louis Tomlinson splits with girlfriend Eleanor Calder

One Direction star Louis Tomlinson has split with his long-term girlfriend Eleanor Calder.
The Doncaster born singer had been dating Eleanor for over four years throughout 1D’s meteoric rise to fame but sadly their relationship ended earlier this month.
In a statement to the Daily Mail, 23-year-old Louis’s representative said: "Louis and Eleanor split up two weeks ago. They have not announced this as they wanted some privacy during this time."
It’s reported that Eleanor flew 20,000 miles to meet Louis in Australia in an attempt to revive their relationship but sadly failed.
A source told the Daily Mirror: “Cracks were showing for a while. It’s incredibly tough with the boys being on the road so much.
“They had a month off over Christmas but since then they have been in Australia and the Far East.
“It put a real strain on the relationship. But even after Eleanor flew out to visit Louis, they couldn’t work through their differences.”
Louis has previously made no secret of the strain his high public profile has had on the relationship.
He said: "It hasn't been easy at times. She gets pretty intimidated by it all. I mean, who wouldn't? She can't have Twitter or anything like that.
"At first, I was like, 'Just chill out a bit, it's fine', but now I understand where she's coming from."
Louis’s band mate Zayn Malik quit the One Direction tour last Thursday due to stress.
