Mrs Hinch opens up about the highs and lows of being an Influencer
She's just released a memoir
Sophie Hinchliffe, better known as Mrs Hinch to her 3.8 million followers on Instagram, joined Hits Radio Breakfast with Fleur East, James and Producer Matt this week to talk about her new memoir, This is Me: A Memoir.
The cleaning goddess is known for her tips around the home, but becoming a cleaning influencer was a unexpected turn for the former hairdresser.
Speaking about her millions of followers, Mrs Hinch admitted, "I don't know how it happened guys, I have no words for it apart from, I'm so grateful, so excited, and I really don't know how it's happened! I just clean my sink!"
The young mum explained that her new book is about a particular part of her life, rather than an autobiography. "This one is more about the rise to this Instagram fame," Mrs Hinch explained.
Continuing, "What it's like to be dumped in the public eye without even meaning to, what it's like to all of a sudden go from 1 to nearly 4 million followers and how that's changed my life, for the better and worst as well.
"I think that's really important. There's been some amazing highs, but also some quite dark lows and I've just spoken about the whole thing, and hopefully it helps people out there that need to know it's OK to not be OK sometimes."
Touching on issues such as body image and anxiety, Mrs Hinch also revealed that it is important to open up about these topics. "I've been through quite a strong body image journey myself having lost eight stone, having gone through quite a lot of changes in my body."
Mrs Hinch also revealed which room is her favourite to clean, and that she has NEVER had a cleaner in to give her house the once over!
