One of the biggest events in the fashion calendar, the Met Gala 2015 didn’t disappoint with some of the best, weirdest and wackiest red carpet looks we’ve seen in some time.
Embracing the ‘China: Through The Looking Glass’, Rihanna turned up to New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art in a fur-trimmed cape that was so long three people had to help the songstress to carry it.
Beyoncé and Kim Kardashian both opted for transparent dress – Queen Bey’s was a Givenchy Haute Couture by Riccardo Tisci covered in multi-coloured crystals and stones, while Kim’s revealing outfit was designed by Peter Dundas for Roberto Cavalli.
Sarah Jessica Parker’s Oscar de la Renta design immediately became a meme on social media thanks to THAT fiery headpiece.
Other celebs rocking jaw-dropping looks included Anne Hathaway in her Princess Leia-esque hooded Ralph Lauren dress, Katy Perry and Madonna in Mochino gowns, Solange Knowles in a truly mind-boggling dress, Justin Bieber’s dragon suit, Zendaya Coleman’s multi-layered Fausto Puglisi dress, Lady Gaga’s Balenciaga by Alexander Wang, Miley Cyrus’s studded black outfit and Cara Delevingne’s tattoo sleeves.
