The Mean Girls musical date has FINALLY been announced
Finally!!!
It was officially Mean Girls day yesterday (October 3rd) and now fans have finally been informed when the musical is hitting theatres.
A few months back, Tina Fey confirmed the news that she had been working with her husband Jeff Richmond and Legally Blonde lyricist Nell Benjamin to create a new musical style show.
It has now been announced the show will make its theatre debut in Washington DC in December 2017!
The news was confirmed by the movie’s official Twitter account yesterday.
No confirmation of who will star in the show is yet to be confirmed but if it’s anything like the 2004 movie, which starred the likes of Lindsay Lohan, Amanda Seyfried, Rachel McAdams and Lizzy Caplan it’s going to be amazing!
Although no details have emerged of whether the show will be coming to the UK, we expect it to be a huge hit with audiences.
