When it comes to shocking Love Island moments, it doesn't get much more dramatic than that whole Michael Griffiths/Amber Gill/Joanna Chimonides love triangle.

It's safe to say the Liverpudlian firefighter came out of things looking quite, er, childish but - as Amber moves on with Greg O'Shea - Joanna's revealed she's not one to hold a grudge and still speaks to Michael every day!

Chatting to Hits Radio Jordan Lee in the latest episode of Love Island: Under the Duvet, Joanna said, "I was scared as to what Michael was going to come out to.

"The next day after Aftersun I called him up and he was like 'oh, I didn't know you were going to call me up.' I was like 'I just want to check you're okay and not taking these comments to heart. There are trolls out there. Everything's okay, I'm okay. If you need advice, come to me. I'm here.'

"I've been checking up on him daily to check he's okay, because I think that despite what's going on you need to be there for that person. I'm mature and I'm a positive person and I've got on with it now. I feel good enough to turn round and go 'I'm here for you. Nothing's going to happen, but I'm still here."

Asked if she thinks producers purposely painted him as the 'villain,' Joanna explained: "Some of the stuff he says, you can't edit. Him saying 'Joanna made me feel like she isn't into me, so I'm going to see how things are with Amber;' you can't edit that.

"I said this too him over the phone. You can't edit that, and that's what I'm trying to say to you...You can't edit words."

Amy Hart also revealed that there's no bad blood with ex Curtis Pritchard, who's now coupled up with Maura Higgins.

Asked if Amy would ever give Curtis a second chance, she said: "No. Too much has happened now. I want to be his mate, I want to look after him because I worry about what's going to happen when he comes out; but too much has happened there and I need someone that's conscious of my feelings."

TOMMY STOLE LUCIE FROM JOE

After surfer girl Lucie coupled up with Joe on the first episode of the series, things seemed to get off to a good start... before Tommy entered hours later.

Tommy chose to couple up with Lucie, stealing her from poor Joe. He said in the Beach Hut, "At the moment the girl I want to pursue is going to be Lucie. She's a surfer, she goes to the gym. Her body is banging. She has beautiful eyes, a beautiful face, beautiful everything."

Amy continued, "He said to me 'I didn't think about your feelings, I knew it would upset you and I still did it.' As much as he's a good guy and I love him to death as a friend now - I'm looking forward to taking him out for mini golf and going out and getting absolutely trashed - that's it for me now. Just friends."
