Congratulations are in order for EastEnders star Louisa Lytton and her boyfriend Ben Bhanvra, after the couple got engaged whilst on holiday in the Maldives, celebrating Louisa's 30th birthday. In the days since Ben proposed to Louisa, the couple have been sharing some adorable holiday snaps, including a few of that beautiful ring!

Ben recently posted a fun photo of the couple splashing in the beautifully blue water around the popular holiday islands, showing the bright white beach and palm trees behind them.

In another photo Ben posted, the happy couple can be seen standing in a life-size photo frame with Louisa proudly showing off her engagement ring, whilst Ben has his arm around his new fiancée. Cute!

The couple, who were on holiday to celebrate Louisa's 30th birthday, revealed details of the proposal, which didn't quite go to plan, in a recent interview. Ben told OK! magazine how he had decided to take Louisa to a part of the island where, "I knew no one else would be around."

He continued, "I told her I wanted to fly my drone to get some aerial pictures of the island, although really I wanted it to capture a video of the moment I proposed. As soon as I got it up in the air and reached to get the ring from the bag, a cleaner walked past and was so mesmerised by the drone he was just stood next to us staring at it for ages!"

Ben then explained how he had to wait for the cleaner to leave before he got a speaker out of his bag so he could play a song. However, even that didn't go to plan as he explained that the wifi signal was so bad he had to give up on his idea. "By this point I was so frustrated that I just grabbed the ring and got down on one knee!" he admitted.

Of course Louisa accepted his proposal and even broke down into tears admitting, "When I saw him on one knee I started crying like a baby. I was so excited but my brain went into overdrive and I started freaking out. I had no idea he was going to propose."

Congratulations to the couple!
