Louis Tomlinson turns hero by rescuing Brit couple stranded after horror accident
Louis gave a 'sizeable donation' to the couple
Louis Tomlinson is known for being part of the biggest boy band in the world, but now the One Direction man has turned hero with a kind donation.
Louis has reportedly given a ‘sizeable donation’ to a young British couple who were left stranded in Vietnam following a horror motorbike smash last month.
The couple in question, 24-year-old Rhys Sykes and 23-year-old Sarah Liddle were left with serious injuries including Sarah suffering a badly broken leg, meaning the couple were unable to fly home.
The pair released horrific pictures of their injuries and set up a crowdfunding appeal in an attempt to raise money for a special evacuation flight which costs a massive £15,000.
Sarah’s aunt, Julie Liddle said “Louis heard about our appeal to get Rhys and Sarah home and his mum got in touch saying how upset he was to hear about what had happened and how he would like to help. He gave a sizeable donation to the fund and we would like to say a very big thankyou to Louis and his family for being so kind.”

Rhys described the horrific accident saying “We were travelling on a moped down a country road when we saw a coach coming the other way. We moved over to give room as the road was narrow but all of a sudden another moped came speeding out from behind the coach and hit us head on at speed.”
After Louis’ donation and kind contributions from the public, the pair are now back home where Sarah is receiving medical treatment at Sheffield’s General Hospital to reset her leg, whilst Rhys has undergone further operations to repair his foot.
This act of kindness is certainly something the dad of one will be hoping little baby Freddie looks up to when he’s older. Freddie is now 2 months old following his birth in January and Louis is clearly a very proud dad, sharing adorable images of the little one.
