Liam Payne reveals which singer inspired his debut solo track ‘Strip That Down’

Liam Payne finally dropped his debut solo track 'Strip That Down' on Friday 19th May and he let our very own Tom Green into a little secret about his new single.
Speaking to Tom, an excited Liam revealed which mega pop star inspired 'Strip That Down' and even revealed what the 'brief' of the song was.
When Tom told the former One Direction star he thought 'Strip That Down' sounded similar to another pop star, Liam was quick to agree.
He said, "The brief of the song was 'What would Justin Timberlake do now if he left N-Sync?' JT what a man! It's obviously different to what JT stuff does and it's more Atlanta based hip-hop."

Liam also spoke to Tom about his hugely anticipated debut album!
Admitting the next song is totally different to 'Strip That Down', Liam said he has made a collection of songs and has worked with great writers including Ed Sheeran, Zedd and Pharrell Williams.
Revealing he's written half of the tracks and taken half from other writers, the 23-year-old said he's put it all together and made 'a little collection of me' for the album.

Of course we couldn't let Liam leave before we asked him about his new bundle of joy, baby Bear!
Since revealing his girlfriend Cheryl had given birth to his first child back in March, Liam hasn't been shy in gushing about his son in interviews.
And when Tom asked Liam what he's learnt since becoming a dad, the 23-year-old revealed he's discovered a lot about himself.
He told Tom, "You will find when you have a kid that they will teach you things you don't know about yourself. It's really, really true. Tiredness doesn't exist anymore, it just doesn't happen. You have a continuous second wind."
He also showed his admiration for new mum Cheryl when he revealed she does all of the night feeds now because she always wakes up and didn't want both of them to be tired.
