Liam Payne reveals the awkward reaction his mum had to his raunchy Hugo Boss shoot

Oops 🙈

The incredible Liam Payne joined us backstage at Hits Radio Live on Sunday 17th November, dropping in for a chat with Hits Radio presenter Jordan Lee before taking to the stage to perform tracks like 'Strip That Down', 'Familiar', and his latest single 'Stack It Up'.

The former One Direction star spoke to us about his upcoming debut album 'LP1', his thoughts about The X Factor: The Band, and of course, THAT Hugo Boss shoot.

Unless you've been living under a rock for the past few months, you'll be aware that Liam posed for a rather raunchy photo shoot in just his pants for a campaign with Hugo Boss, leaving fans extremely hot under the collar.

Admitting that his mum Karen Payne wasn't best pleased when she first saw the finished shots, Liam told Jordan, "My mum actually congratulated me in the end, but first off she hit me round the head when she first saw them. She wasn't comfortable with it at first but she's alright with it now."

He also explained the surreal moment he walked down the street recently, seeing his half-naked body posted all over. The 26-year-old added, "I was walking down Oxford Street the other day and every single bus shelter was just me in my pants. I had like glasses on so I was trying to like Hannah Montana it out, like pretend I was wearing glasses but I wasn't."

Oh Liam! 🙈

Of course, Christmas is coming up, so we couldn't let Liam leave without asking him what he'd like off Santa this year. Admitting he's excited to see his son Bear Grey Payne's little smile, Liam gushed, "I just want to have a nice chilled day, spending a little bit of time with my son, watching him smile at presents and stuff."

Of course, the crowd at Hits Radio Live went into absolute meltdown when Liam's former One Direction band mate Louis Tomlinson appeared at the side of the stage to watch his set.

As well as thanking the amazing crowd, Liam spotted his former One Direction band mate at the side of the stage, in turn giving him a big shout out. Check out the video below:
