69-year-old Cher is announced as the face of Marc Jacobs
Proving age is just a number Cher has been announced as the newest addition to the coveted list of models fronting popular fashion brand Marc Jacobs.
The award-winning singer turned 69 on the 20th May but has proven she still has what it takes in the modeling world as these pictures by David Sims show.
Marc Jacobs brought Cher as his date to the Met Gala earlier in the year, and this was just a teaser to the news that Cher would be part of the 2015 Fall collection.
Cher models a semi-sheer, pleated, black dress and finished the ensemble with a black jacket and leather gloves. Her normally wild hair is tamed and sleek, the perfect finish to the look.
Cher is one of many older celebrities to be added to modelling campaigns, singer Joni Mitchell, 71, took part in Saint Laurent’s January campaign in the same month Joan Didion was announced as the new face of Celine. She joins other famous names on Jacobs’ books such as Victoria Beckham and Dakota Fanning.
